Just submitted my app to TestFlight and got an email with the error:

ITMS-90809: Deprecated API Usage - Apple will stop accepting submissions of apps that use UIWebView APIs . See https://developer.apple.com/documentation/uikit/uiwebview for more information.

I was wondering if all the code related to UIWebView will have to be removed and only keep WKWebView.

It was just a warning, the build ended up being available on TestFlight, but I think this is something that will have to...

Hi,

Been struggling to find a solution to this.

I have a mute music button in my game. The status is saved in PlayerPrefs for the next time the user loads the app. I can't seem to get Unity Ads to mute at all.

I have unity Ads load in separate scenes - once after my game intro and once after game over.

I have a global boolean - "music" - which is set to either true or false according to the playerPrefs setting on my intro scene. It is working fine except in the ads.

Hi everyone.

Recently I have been tasked by my supervisor to integrate ads into the game in a few different ways, one of the ways is that partnering companies will provide videos to our team, which we then put into the game. Players have an option to watch one of the videos for rewards, and the game plays it it via the Video Player. It's just like any other rewarded ad mechanically.

My question being, will this cause any problems with either Unity, Google or even Apple? Do I HAVE to use...

Do I have to use UnityAds, or can I play my own videos?

Hi,

For my payment information, I have entered an IBAN,swiftcode and bank information from my transferwise account. It seems payment is not processed. I didn't understand because it is unique iban and swift for my personal operations.

I would like to learn if there is another option other than direct bank account or paypal ?

Hello, I was add unity ads to my game 2 days ago. But still I cant see the stats. Here is the dashboard error;

No data for this time period

There isn’t any data for the time period selected to show the chart. It’s possible that your Unity Analytics integration is configured incorrectly, or that your game is still in development and has limited data available.

What are the Ads Filters for Google Play and children permission?

I currently marked my game 18+ because I'm afraid of putting it as children friendly because it has ads.

I'm submitting a new version today and I marked on Unity Services that the game is directed to children (COPPA compliant), I also went to Unity Ads and added the filters in the image, are there any more filters I need to put on the ads or would these suffice?

The game has no adult content, I want to mark it as 13+ or maybe 9+ on Google Play as target audience.

It also collects no data...

What are the Ads Filters for Google Play and children permission?

When I set the 2nd paramter of Monetization.Initialize("gameid",bool) to true, Everything is great, test ads show easily.
But when I set the 2nd paramter of Monetization.Initialize("gameid",bool) to false, Not any ad shows.

I wonder why.

I haven't upload my game to any store yet. Must I upload my app to play store to make it a real app ?
I am in China. Is there no ad service in China ?

On Unity 2018.3. Got this error after importing Monetization SDK 3.0. Ad services where on but I turned them off before importing. I reimported all assets but it got worst since many errors where reported with TMP examples. Deleted TMP examples folder in project but same errors. Deleted all tmp examples refs in Assembly-CSharp.csproj then got another error about loading this file (my text editor was closed). I restarted my computer and guess what? Everything now is fine!?!?!?!

Is it Possible to Direct "Unpaid UnityADS Earnings" into "Organization Budget"

Hello,
I wonder if it is possible to direct UnityAds income to Organization Budget (to use it for campaigns later)
Getting payments with "Bank Transfer" option and later adding money into "Organization Budget" causes lots of double taxation and transfer fees. also it is very inconvenient too.
I wonder if it is possible to directly transfer "UnityAds Unpaid Earnings" into "Organization Budget" with no/minimal tax and fees.

We got banned from admob and think it may be because someone spam klicked ads. Could this happen to us if we use unity ads? If yes, what would be the best way to prevent it? Thanks in advance!

Does Unity Ads have an app-ads.txt line?

We've got one game using Unity Ads on the Google Play store with very few views and 2 iOS games on the App Store with a lot more view and noticed we're getting a lot of (quite spammy) GET calls to our web server for the app-ads.txt file.

As we only use Unity Ads, it seems that's the one we need to put in the file, but there doesn't seem to be any info on the proper app-ads line for it.

How does the earnings work in unity ads?

Hello. I have a simple question. but a quite important one.
I'm using unity ads for android releases. And my game does show the ads and it does get impressions. How come i don't see any earnings on my dashboard? Or not get any earnings at all? So my question is how does unity decide when and if you get paid? per view, per click, or per install? I'm trying to figure it out, cause it's kind of strange in my oppinion. the player base isn't too bad. yet i don't earn revenue. Anyone that can...

So I am making a simple mobile game where you have to pass a level.
If you run out of lives I want to give a player a second chance by letting them watch a rewarded video.

Problem is that when the before mentioned method is called everything works fine in editor, but on phone I get this error:

Hey guys. As above. It was my impression that Advertisments.isSupported was available before ads were even initialised? In the editor I get the test ads but on mobile I never initialise as this returns false.
