Show rewarded ad after button click

Hello everyone,

currently I am trying to get a rewarded ad to play after a button click. But after reviewing a couble of tutorials I do not seem to understand how it actually works. And this is made worse because they use different approaches and I cannot follow at all.

All I want is to have this implemented:
- if button clicked show a rewarded ad
- if the rewarded ad is shown succesful without any interuptions, give the player a few keys

I am able to use the Button-ClickOn() methods and...

Hello everyone,

I have a doubt, I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is normal. Unity Analytics shows info for DAU and Total New Users, but not for Ad Revenue. I know it should be zero, but just wanted to make sure that the dashboard or if something is missing for me to see Ad Revenue info (I know it's going to be zero, just wanted to know if there is nothing out of the ordinary)

BTW, I see normal Ads on the game, not the Unity ad test ones. I enabled Analytics around 4 days ago.

Is this a joke? I have a feeling Unity is *probably* taking 90~99% of ad revenue instead of sharing with developers.

It appears I may need to find another ad services. Are there any good ones that wont cheat us like Unityads? View attachment 472697

ECPM of only few cents? Is this a joke? I waited patiently for a few weeks to monitor the situation but now I know it wont improve. I have a feeling Unity is *probably* taking 90~99% of ad revenue instead of sharing with developers.

Hi, I have a game using UnityAds with placement "video" successfully by activating Ads from "Services" window, but I can't show a banner using UnityAds Banner:
Advertisement.Banner.Show (bannerPlacement);
My build target setting is for Android Platform, not iOS. I'm afraid this is the problem.
I have tried importing "Monetization 3.0" UnityAds SDK after can not find Advertisement.Banner.
But still, everything still looks the same just like before importing Monetization.

Hey,

Just updated to Unity 5 and am having a compile issue in Xcode. Running UnityAds 1.1.2 and Xcode 6.2.

The compile error is "-/Plugins/iOS/UnityAdsUnityWrapper.h:7:9: 'UnityAds/UnityAds.h' file not found.

Hello everyone, I do not have a bank account and I live outside the United States. Is it possible to charge my UnityAds earnings with the Payoneer Global Payment Service? They give you an account number and ABA in the United States, I use it to collect adsense. Can I use it to charge in Unity Ads? Thank you

Hello, my name is Alexander. I'm developing a videogame using Unity Ads and IAP.
When I tested my game only with IAP, works fantastic (Connected and disconnected), but now I integrated Ads and only runs on the editor, on my android phone only crashes.

I followed instruction on Integration guide, for initialization, and use, but after initialization, my game crashes.

Hello everyone,

I am using unity: 2018.2.21f

I have tried the following:

Package Manager:
Unity Ads 2.0.8
Unity Ads 2.3.1

Also i have removed the Ads package manager and have used the asset store package:

Unity Monetization 3.2.0

My code works fine in test mode, with any versions of Ads above, i see the unity "test ad" and all appears to be working... but when i deploy to IOS release i dont get any adverts.

Can anyone help?

I'm getting the following error trying to deploy to Android since adding the Monetization asset and enabling ads:

Questions about real money payouts using ad revenue

I am commissioned to make a game that works similarly to the lottery. There are no in app purchases or buy ins, you will never be risking your own real money, but the game does involve real money payouts. These real money pay outs are generated, at least in part, by ad revenue.

Will Unity allow me to do this? Do I need the gambling license I have heard about? Or do I have to go with a separate engine/tool entirely?

Hi,

On my loading screen, I currently enable a banner ad on top simply using :
Code (CSharp):
  1. Advertisement.Banner.Show("myBannerID");
and then, just before activating the new scene, I use
Code (CSharp):
  1. Advertisement.Banner.Hide(false);
All great and fun, the banner shows when the loading start and it hides when it's complete.
But I recently received a review stating that the banner, sometime, shows up on the next scene and it remains there.
I have not been able to replicate...
